The original launch of the personalised packaging was the first time Coca-Cola had made such a major change to its packaging, and the first time a campaign like this was released by a brand in Australia.
With the goal to bring people together, the campaign was an invitation for people to find the names of family and friends to connect and ‘Share a Coke’.
After a few relaunches since the debut, the personalised cans and bottles are back with almost 200 names and nicknames to choose from.
For those whose names are less likely to be included in the top 200, there will be pop up personalisation stations in almost 100 retailers across the country where you can have the chance to get your very own coke made up on the spot.
Personalised bottles and cans are available to shop in store now, with the pop up stations opening from the 21st of April.
Senior Marketing Director at Coca-Cola, Kate Miller, said “Nothing beats the feeling of seeing your name, or your best mate's name on a Coca-Cola can or bottle”.
