Bluey Fans Are Trying The Fairy Bread Sausage Sandwich, And We're Scared

A recent Bluey minisode introduced viewers to the 'fairy bread sausage sandwich', prompting the internet to give the Aussie culinary combo a crack, igniting some… strong feelings.

The minisode titled 'Butlers' follows Monty, the head butler, onboarding a new butler in Bluey's dreamhouse.

The much-loved Blue Heeler pup Bluey places an order for "a fairy bread sausage sandwich, but with no orange sprinkles", and the rest is history.

Taking to the Reddit thread r/australia, described as 'A dusty corner on the internet where you can chew the fat about Australia and Australians', one user posted their version of the fairy bread sandwich.

'Anyone else experienced this 2 in 1?' they asked innocently enough, referring to the pairing of white bread, margarine, rainbow sprinkles and…. a sausage.

Hundreds of comments poured in from disturbed users, refuting the 'fairy snag' and everything it doesn't stand for.

'Triple zero? Hello? I'd like to report a crime', one scared user wrote.

Seconded by this commenter, 'Straight to jail'.

'You are meddling with powers YOU DO NOT COMPREHEND!' another warned.

'Citizenship revoked', one commenter wrote.

'Who hurt you?' another asked.

This commenter simply and fairly wanted to know, 'Do you hate Australia?'

One feared for what was to come next, 'Is nothing sacred? What's next, Vegemite Pavlova??'

While another said, 'Go to your room. We're not even angry, but we are very, very disappointed.'

For many, what was hardest to swallow, sprinkles and sizzled meat aside, was the user's choice of bread.

'I think the real abomination here is what appears to be multigrain bread which has no place in either fairy bread or sausage sizzle,' one user wrote.

'On multigrain? You heathen', a second commenter added.

'To add insult to injury… it's not even on white bread', a third echoed.
