Animals Inside Melbourne Pet Store Die After Firebomb Hits String Of Shops

Animals inside a pet store have been killed after an alleged firebombing hit an acai store in Melbourne’s north.

An investigation is underway after a suspicious fire engulfed the shops on Mahoneys Rd in Campbellfield on Wednesday at about 3.40 am.

Victoria Police confirmed that rabbits, fish and birds inside the King Pets shop were killed in the blaze.

10 News First reported that all animals except a tub of turtles sadly perished during the fire.
