Christel Dirksen has spent five years fighting for a home modification grant from the NDIS on behalf of her adult son Xavier, who lives with cerebral palsy and a sensory processing disorder. And now they have been served an eviction notice from their purpose-built rental property for families with disabilities; with the uncertainty of their living arrangement is taking a toll on their mental health.
