If you’re not familiar, Twisties released their corn-based snack with a coating that temporarily stains the tongue with an electric shade of blue back in the early 2000s.

However, the tangy sour blueberry flavour is a new venture for the Aussie brand.

“We wanted to shine a light on the fun and unexpected joy that Twisties brings to Aussies so, we listened to our fans and we’re bringing back one of our cult favourites,” says Twisties Brand Manager Simon Odisho. “And in true Twisties style, we love quirky twists, so we’re not stopping there and releasing this in an unexpected iteration – a brand-new, exciting flavour, Twisties Sour Blueberry, available for a limited-time.

“Whether this is your first time trying the snack or if you’re familiar with it from the 2000s, don’t say we didn’t warn you about how blue your tongues will turn! This is probably not one to have before a meeting…”

Word on the street is Twisties Sour Blueberry will be available exclusively at 7-Eleven stores starting tomorrow, on Wednesday 2 April.
