Fergie Says The Late Queen Elizabeth Is 'Talking' To Her Through Her Corgis

Sarah ‘Fergie' Ferguson revealed that the late monarch talks to her through her corgis, Muick and Sandy, whom the Duchess of York inherited following the Queen's passing.

On May 14, Fergie attended the Creative Women Platform Forum conference in London. During a conversation on stage, the duchess opened up about caring for her late mother-in-law's corgis, Muick and Sandy.

"I have her dogs. I have her corgis," she said.

"So every morning they come in and go, you know, woof woof and all that.

"I swear it's (the Queen) talking to me."

Fergie went on to say what an honour it was to know Queen Elizabeth II.

"The real thing is that I had the greatest honour to be her daughter-in-law. You know, that's really huge," she continued. "When I was driving here, I saw the Elizabeth [train] line… I want everyone to remember what an amazing lady she was."

The Duchess of York was married to Queen Elizabeth's second son, Prince Andrew, from 1986 to 1996.

Muick and Sandy were gifted to the Queen by her son, Prince Andrew, following Prince Philip's passing in 2021.

While the Duke and Duchess split almost three decades ago, the former couple remain friends and still live together at their home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor.

Following the Queen's death, Muick and Sandy were inherited by Fergie and Prince Andrew.
