“This matter arises from an employment dispute between Greenwoods Freehills and Mr Watson.

“Mr Watson ceased advising Lendlease in 2014.

“Lendlease proactively contacted the ATO prior to submitting its 2018 tax return.

“We take whistleblower claims seriously and investigate any allegation received, as we did in this case.

“We fundamentally reject Mr Watson’s allegations and will continue to vigorously defend the proceedings.

“As the matter remains before the court, it would be inappropriate to provide further comment.”
