Pierce Brosnan Says He Never Really Worked With Robin Williams, "Only Mrs. Doubtfire"

Pierce Brosnan and Robin Williams may have shared the screen in the iconic '90s family film, but Brosnan says he never really worked with Williams.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Brosnan spoke of his time working with the late Williams.

"I really never worked with Robin Williams," Brosnan admitted." I only worked with Mrs. Doubtfire."

Brosnan played Stuart Dunmeyer in the film, a man who starts dating the estranged wife of Williams' character, played by Sally Field.

Williams played Daniel Hillard, a father who acted as a female nanny in order to spend time with his children after his wife sought a divorce.

"I mean, the very first day that I was on set up in San Francisco. They said, 'Do you want to meet Robin?' I said, 'Yeah, I'd love to meet him,'" Brosnan said.

"And I went into the makeup trailer, and Robin was sitting there in a Hawaiian shirt — and his kind of haired arms hanging out and his hairy legs — but had the head of Mrs. Doubtfire."

Brosnan said Williams teased him with Mrs. Doubtfire's accent saying, "Oh, Pierce, you're so handsome. Come here, give us a kiss," before transitioning to a man's deeper voice and saying, "Hey baby, what's happening?"

"He jumped all over the place," Brosnan said.

Williams sadly died in 2014, aged 63 years old.
