Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Postpartum Struggles While Being In The Public Eye

Hailey Bieber has shed some light on her postpartum struggles and going through such a vulnerable time while being in the public eye.

The Rhode founder made her Vogue cover debut and opened up about her postpartum journey after welcoming Jack Blues Bieber in August 2024 with her husband, pop star Justin Bieber.

"Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through. And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day…I cannot even begin to explain it,” she told Vogue.

The 28-year-old shared how being online affected her postpartum journey as rumours swirled that her marriage was on the rocks.

Justin and Hailey were married in 2018 after a two-month engagement.

"And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, 'They’re getting divorced' and 'They’re this and They’re not happy.' It is such a mindf--k. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live,” she said.

She also admitted to reading the headlines about her and Justin. The Rhode founder revealed that she is trying to come to terms that there’s nothing she can do about people who don’t want to believe the truth.

"And there’s nothing you can do about that. I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie, and then they go, Well, she’s lying. Imagine how trapping that feels."

Justin also caused a stir online after he posted about his wife’s Vogue cover. The now-deleted caption initially read, “Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight; I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean,” he wrote on Instagram.

“For some reason, because I felt so disrespected; I thought I gotta get even..

“I think as we mature, we realise that we’re not helping anything by getting even; we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.

“So baby, u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

Fans were quick to have a problem with the use of the phrase “sadly mistaken,” as people thought this meant he was not thrilled about Hailey’s cover debut.

He then changed the caption to a series of emojis.
