George Clooney Reveals Ocean's 14 Is About The Squad Being "Too Old To Do The Jobs"

George Clooney teased the plotline of the next installment in the long-running franchise, Ocean's, saying the heist team may be "too old to do the jobs" they once did.

Speaking in an interview with The New York Times, the 63-year-old actor revealed a few juicy details about Ocean's 14.

"We have a really good script," said Clooney. "Everyone's read it and ready to do it."

As for the plot, Clooney hinted that the gang's age will play into it.

"It's like we're all too old to do the jobs we used to be able to do," he said.

The last movie, Ocean's 13, was released in 2007 and now, nearly 20 years later, Clooney and Pitt are both in their 60s, with Damon in his mid-50s.

It's not Clooney's first time referencing age as a relevant factor in how Ocean's will evolve.

In December 2023, Clooney compared the script for Ocean's 14 to Going in Style, a 1979 heist film that follows three senior citizens who decide to rob a bank after their pensions are cancelled.
