WA Premier, Mark McGowan, Tests Positive For COVID-19.

Mr McGowan went into quarantine yesterday as he is a household contact of a case.

Releasing a statement, Mr. McGowan confirmed "In accordance with the protocols, this will extend my quarantine period until I am hopefully cleared to leave home next Thursday afternoon, at the earliest,"

He joins opposition leader, Mr. Anthony Albanese, as both Labor leaders are currently stricken down with the virus
