Victoria To Drop QR Codes In Shops & Schools But Not Restaurants As New Easing Announced

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that Victoria will relax some COVID-19 restrictions in the coming days.

From 6PM, Friday, 18th February, there will be no density limits in hospitality indoors and there will be no QR check ins at retail or schools.

Permits for international travel will also be scrapped but isolation will still be needed for unvaccinated travelers.

There is no movement on masks rules at this stage but the Premier flagged they could be changed by next Friday.
