The Internet Claims Spencer Matthews' Abs Strike Uncanny ‘Resemblance’ To Jesus’ Face

People occasionally claim to see the face of Jesus burnt into their toast or fried onto a potato chip, but now, eagle-eyed fans have spotted Jesus Christ’s face on Spencer Matthews'… ripped torso.

The former Made In Chelsea Star and record-breaking marathon runner Spencer Matthews has just completed a grueling 30 marathons in 30 days, totalling 1,266 kilometres, in the scorching heat of the Jordanian desert.

The incredible accomplishment landed Spencer the Guinness World Record for most marathon distances run on sand.

The official confirmed: 'For the official Guinness World Record title for the most marathon distances completed on sand in one month, I can confirm after checking your evidence, you completed 30 you are officially amazing. Congratulations!'

Among the many congratulations posted on social media, was one from Spencer’s wife, Vogue Williams, who shared a photo of the pair to Instagram, with the caption: ‘Couldn’t be prouder of my @spencermatthews an incredible achievement for an amazing cause.’

While fans of the 36-year-old flocked to the post to congratulate Spencer and call him an inspiration, others were distracted by his godly figure.

Eagle-eyed fans claimed that the outline of his abdominal muscles resemble Jesus’ face, explaining that two of Spencer’s abs look like a pair of eyes and his belly button resembles an open mouth, with the area around it looking like a beard.

“Is that a man’s face on his torso?” one user asked.

Another replied, “it looks like Jesus”.

A third wrote, “I think I can see Jesus Christ on his abs.”

“Spenny has the face of Jesus intertwined in his stomach muscles in that pic”, wrote another.

“A blow up doll Jesus, but yes”, one quipped

Another joked: “Our father which art in the abdominals.”

Through the Guinness World Record, Spencer raised over £500,000 (AU$972,700) for Global’s Make Some Noise charity, which helps people across the UK through bereavement, mental health struggles, illness and more.
