The Hunt Is On For A Powerball Winner With Unclaimed $120 Million Joint Prize

Two Australians became the lucky winners of a shared Powerball jackpot last night however, the hunt is on as one winner’s prize remains unclaimed.

The 1345 draw from last night had a massive $120 million prize up for grabs, the second-largest prize ever offered. The huge jackpot resulted from no division one winners from previous draws, resulting in a more considerable sum of prize money being pooled. 

Lottery officials confirmed that two individual entrants each held all the winning numbers, meaning they split the division one prize and took home more than $63 million each.

One winner is from Western Australia and one from Coffs Harbour in New South Wales.

However, the NSW player had not registered their entry and has so far remained unaware and uncontacted about their life-changing win.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Powerball ticket from an outlet in the Coffs Harbour region to check their tickets!” The Lott spokesperson, Ally Ramsamy said
