Sydney To Be Lashed With 10 Days Of Storms, Perth To Swelter Through Heatwave

It will be a mixed bag of weather across the country for the end of Summer.

Sydneysiders will have a soggy end to their Summer, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting up to 10 days of storms.

As much as 50mm is expected to be dumped on Sydney on Monday and Tuesday.

The humid days and heavy rainfalls are also expected to extend up the coast to the Hunter region.

Southeast Queensland will also experience storms early in the week, with rainfall continuing until the weekend.

Brisbane will see up to 40mm on Thursday and Friday.

Melbourne and Canberra may see some rain showers towards the end of the week, but the day will be cloudy and humid.

Adelaide and Perth will see out Summer with the sun shining and temperatures sitting in the 30s for most of the week.

Western Australians could cop temperatures nearing the 40s as the week goes on.
