Queen Elizabeth II Will Not Attend This Summer's Royal Garden Parties, Raising Health Concerns

It has been confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II will not attend this summer's royal garden parties at Buckingham Palace, raising concerns for her health.

Every summer, up to three parties occur dubbed 'Royal Garden Parties', taking place at Buckingham Palace Garden and Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.

Typically, Queen Elizabeth II is in attendance, however, this year, other royal representatives will take her place, which has raised questions about the monarch's health.

Since an unscheduled overnight stay in hospital last October, the Queen has significantly reduced her public appearances on doctor's orders.

The Queen was last seen in public at Westminster Abbey in central London on March 29 at a memorial service for her late husband, Prince Philip, who died last year aged 99.
