New South Wales COVID Restrictions To Ease Early For All Bar The Unvaccinated

The NSW government has announced significant changes to the state’s COVID-19 roadmap.

It means that the changes flagged for December 1 will now begin on November 8 for those who are doubled jabbed.

The changes see the limits for visitors to the home lifted and no rules being needed for outdoor gatherings with fewer than 1,000 people.

Caps will be removed for indoor settings other than gyms and dance classes, where 20 people will be allowed. The 2sq metre rule will apply.

Unvaccinated residents, however, will see their freedoms pushed back until December 15, or whenever the state reaches 95 per cent double dose coverage for those aged 16 or above.

In NSW, 93.6 per cent of people aged 16 and up have had one jab, while 87.8 per cent are fully vaccinated.
