Megan Fox, 35 and Machine Gun Kelly, 32, got engaged after a little over a year of dating. The rapper proposed with a custom emerald green ring -- designed with two thorns that will hurt if she ever takes it off.
Megan Fox received (pretty warranted) backlash when she described the bizarre blood-drinking ritual that she and her fiancee Machine Gun Kelly allegedly participated in during their engagement.
Fox had spoken of the ritual when she announced their engagement on Instagram.
The star stated that the proposal, which occurred in Puerto Rico under a banyan tree where they first connected, led to them drinking each other's blood, stating "...and then we drank each other's blood."
Fox has now clarified what exactly was meant by that statement. The 35-year-old told Glamour UK's latest edition. "Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other's blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets, and we're like Game of Thrones, drinking each other's blood,"
"It's just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other's blood on occasion for ritual purposes only."
Oh yes, okay, so like the special plates we use for certain occasions, you just drink blood 'on occasion'? It all makes sense now…
