The parent company of Facebook told its employees that it would be cutting down on certain perks, including free laundry, dry cleaning and valet services.
It will also delay meal times, with the daily free dinner moving from 6 PM to 6:30 PM.
The push-back dinner services will mean fewer meals are served as the final shuttle bus leaves the campus at 6 PM, leaving employees to decide whether they want a free meal or ride home.
Company spokesperson Tracy Clayton told news site Protocol: “Our culinary services are first and foremost an onsite perk for people while they’re working in the office … We want food to be served to meet that need while people might be working late.”
The announcement comes as Meta allows employees to return to the office from March 28th.
