Elon Musk Offers 19-Year-Old $5,000 To Remove His Twitter Account Over Security Concerns

Elon Musk has offered a 19-year-old man $5,000 to take down his Twitter account.

The man, according to Protocol, is behind the account @ElonJet, which allegedly tracks Musk's private jet.

The account has over 91,000 followers and uses bots to use publicly available air traffic data to find the jet.

The outlet says that the man received a message from Musk saying, "Can you take this down? It is a security risk."

The man responded, saying, "Yes, I can, but it'll cost you a Model 3. Only joking unless?"

Musk then said, "I don't love the idea of being shot by a nutcase."

The outlet reported after a few messages; the billionaire offered the man $5,000.

The man has since asked for $50,000, but no money has been deposited.
