There was absolute chaos at Sydney airport this morning and what’s to blame? Heaps of stuff.
Passengers flooded social media with their frustrations and photos have emerged of huge queues up to 1km long.
Not even the best nightclub in the world warrants a line that long, let alone a flight to Adelaide.
There's reports that the airport experienced its busiest day of the year on Thursday with huge crowds forming.
This led to a chaos hangover on Friday morning with people spending up to two hours in line and some even missing their flights.
Much like a real hangover, it sounds headache inducing and full of regret.

Disgruntled passenger number 1 wrote “People who are late push in the queue. And people who are on time are pushed back, waiting longer than they should, so people who are late are not inconvenienced. Pathetic”.
Disgruntled passenger number 2 wrote “Missed our flight and fingers crossed to find another way down to Melbourne”.
Nine Network reporter Tom Steinfort summed it up nicely with “Sydney Airport WTF”.
It sounds even more hectic than the Boxing Day Sales and instead of a sale, everything is overpriced.
Sydney Airport chief executive, Geoff Culbert told the Sydney Morning Herald that they were “facing a perfect storm”, with a large number of travellers, people inexperienced with airports after two years of not travelling, and staff shortages due to close contact rules.
He apologised for the inconvenience and urged travellers to be “patient” as the industry got back in the swing of processing large numbers of people through gates.
Apparently, passengers were warned to get to the airport two hours before their flights in the lead-up to Easter.
It seems the mistake was advising passenger to get to the airport ‘regular person early’. Instead, they should have been advising them to get there ‘Dad time early’ which is, of course eight hours before a flight.
