Brisbane's Citipointe Christian College Withdraws Controversial Contract Following Backlash

The Brisbane religious school that caused outrage this week over the enrolment contract it sent to parents, has now withdrawn the terms.

The contract asked parents to denounce homosexuality and students to only identify by their birth gender, or risk being excluded from the school.

Citipointe Christian College’s contract also described homosexuality as a sin.

The school’s principal  Brian Mulheran wrote to parents this morning saying the contract had caused distress and was being withdrawn ‘at this time’
