Apple, Nike Join Companies Pausing Sales In Russia

More global companies are limiting their products from being sold in Russia following the country's invasion of Ukraine.

Apple released a statement confirming it has paused all product sales in Russia.

"We are deeply concerned about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and stand with all of the people who are suffering as a result of the violence," the statement said.

"We are supporting humanitarian efforts, providing aid for the unfolding refugee crisis, and doing all we can to support our teams in the region."

Apple Pay and other services will be limited in Russia, while Russian state media apps are no longer available for download.

Nike is also the latest company to pull sales from Russia.

Products are unavailable for purchase on its website, and the Nike app is unable to be accessed.

Hollywood studios Disney, Warner Bros, and Sony Pictures Entertainment also paused the theatrical release of their films in Russia.
