2022’s Australian Bogan Names Have Been Revealed

Move over Max, Caleb and Danno, there are some new bogans in town!

Gone are the days when you used to just pop a hyphen and Lee at the end of any name to create the perfect bogan combo. Sarah-Lee, Jamie-Lee and Ricki-Lee (sorry) are now bogan names of the past.

These days, it’s a little more complex. You’ll need to use the name of a character in your favourite mythical TV series, create a variation of your favourite alcoholic spirit, or swap out a C for a K or X, or an E for a Y.

The top bogan names in Australia for 2022 have been revealed, and it’s a huge cheers to all the parents that have made life for their little one just a little more complex.

Let’s start with the fellas. In around 18 years, you be sharing a beer at the footy club with the following guys:

Brave

Draven

Draxler

Kashdon

Knoxlee

Ledgen

Maxon

Roar

Zaiken

Zinc

Deadset, Ledgen is a pretty good one! And we could see Brave and Roar heading up the domestic rugby team on a Tuesday night.

And what ladies will you be sharing a Rosé with in Bali in 2040?

Iveighsee

Juul

Kardi

Kior

Maevery

Miraccle

Resilia

Salmon (Yes, really)

Samanda

Good luck to all those teachers out there who will be listing these names off in rollcall in 5-6 years.
