  • Dissolve yeast in warm water, sprinkle with some sugar (leave for 5 minutes to bubble), then add the rest of the sugar
  • Lightly beat the eggs, and add into the yeast and sugar mixture
  • Add the orange juice & oil
  • Add the flour, mix to form a dough allow to rise for 1 1 /2 hours
  • Divide into 4, roll out into large flat circles
  • Spread chocolate filling over the surface
  • Cut with a pizza cutter to form a long triangle shape
  • Roll outwards starting from edge rolling in
  • Place on baking tray, leave spacing
  • Brush with egg wash
  • Bake it for 15 minutes for 180 degrees Celsius
  • Remove from oven-place into plastic bag single layer immediately
  • When cool transfer to dry plastic bags
  • Coat the rugelach with egg /vanilla extract
  • Bake around 20 minutes
