Tara
Age: 25
Occupation: Nurse
State: VIC
Open, honest and sometimes a little stubborn, Tara finds that when it comes to girls, drama always follows. The 25-year-old nurse has a big heart and often fosters cats when shelters don’t have room for them. While her friends say she is picky, Tara won’t date for the hell of it and is hoping for a kind and understanding man who is willing to go through the hardships of life together.
Why did you apply for the show?
I haven’t met anyone I’ve connected with in almost two years. There’s nothing I want more than to find love again and start that next chapter of my life with that person. I feel like dating these days is predominantly done using mobile phone/apps and I just find it so impersonal.
How would you describe your perfect partner?
I’m looking for someone who is genuine and honest. Someone who knows who they are and what they want in life. I would like him to be strong, to be able to carry the relationship through any obstacles that life throws at us, but I also want him to share a caring and soft side.
Describe yourself in five words.
Kind, genuine, silly, open and easy-going.
Describe your dream date.
I love a surprise. I wouldn’t want to know anything about the date, except the dress code. Some good entertainment, great food and even better wine. Hopefully the sun is shining, and the wind isn’t blowing my hair into my lipstick.
How do you plan on winning over The Bachelor’s heart?
Just being myself and being open. Hopefully he gets my quirks and can see our potential.
