- In a medium saucepan, heat milk over medium-high heat until just about to boil
- Add the rest of the ingredients and allow to come to the boil stirring continuously to avoid rice sticking to the bottom
- Reduce heat to low and allow mixture to simmer for approximately 30 mins (stirring often) or until thickened and ingredients evenly distributed
- Pour into bowls or glasses and allow to set in the fridge until cold
- Before serving, sprinkle some sugar on the surface of each rice pudding and with a blow torch, melt the sugar until golden brown and serve
