- Soak your chickpeas overnight, in cold water. Strain the next day, place in a large pot. Cover with water on a high heat, bring to the boil and reduce heat and allow to continue cooking for approx. 20 mins or until softened. Set aside until needed.
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until combined and smooth puree consistency is reach.
- To make chocolate sauce, place chopped chocolate into a separate bowl. In a frypan on a low to medium heat, bring thickened cream to just simmering and then pour straight over the chocolate, allow to sit for a few minutes. Stir until completely combined.
- Place the hummus in a bowl, drizzle the chocolate sauce and serve with fried sugared Lebanese bread.
- Serve and enjoy!!
