US President Donald Trump has fanned the flames of the riots in Los Angeles, as thousands of National Guard troops face stiff resistance from protesters. Violence in LA has entered a second day as crowds resist the incursion of ICE officials, who swept through the city as part of the Trump Administration's heavy-handed crackdown on supposed illegal immigrants. Speaking on the riots, Trump took no backwards step, asserting "there will be law and order." Meanwhile, Californian officials have issued veiled accusations that Trump is merely railing against a problem that he himself created.
