A 30-year-old man has been shot dead by police outside Toronto’s Pearson Airport on Thursday morning local time, sparking temporary travel chaos at Canada's busiest airport. Authorities say two officers shot the man around 7am after they were called to a ‘dispute’, and following several minutes of de-escalation attempts, the man pulled out a gun and police opened fire. Ontario police's Special Investigations Unit said no police officers were injured, and "there is no known threat to the public".
