Iran has launched an attack on Israel, firing around 180 missiles, most of which have been intercepted. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described the attack as a “big mistake”, also warning that Iran will “pay for”. It is believed no serious injuries have been reported, with US President Joe Biden confirming that the US military “actively supported” Israel to intercept the missiles. It comes as Israel continues its ground offensive into Lebanon, with the country’s health ministry confirming yesterday’s attacks killed 55 people and injured another 156.
