At least 100 people have been killed across six US states and more than 600 are unaccounted for after Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc across the country's southeast. Helene made landfall on Thursday as a category four hurricane, becoming the most powerful on record to hit Florida's Big Bend, before moving north into Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have said they plan to visit hurricane-hit regions this week. Meanwhile, former president Donald Trump has landed on the ground in Georgia bringing ‘food and fuel’ for the community.
