Newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has met with US President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday. The pair’s first face-to-face meeting comes just a week after Carney’s election win, with Trump describing his victory as "one of the greatest comebacks in the history of politics". Among the discussion, which was heavily dominated by Trump, Carney did make his position clear on issues like tariffs and Canada becoming America's 51st state firmly saying, “it’s not for sale, won’t be for sale ever”.
