The outage, caused by a faulty Crowdstrike security update, halted the operation of airports, banks, supermarkets and almost, 10 News First. Coastal areas have borne the brunt of the damage, with establishments reduced to scattered debris and furniture swept away by the storm surge. Mexican authorities confirmed that no deaths were immediately reported from the hurricane, but warnings are still in place for heavy rainfall as the storm moves inland.

Leavitt reaffirmed that Trump and his administration are interested in reaching a diplomatic solution with Iran, as conflict between Israel and the Islamic Republic continues to rage in the middle east.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has flatly rejected US President Donald Trump's demands for an unconditional surrender to Israel, going on to issue a warning of "irreparable damage" to America. Khamenei spoke in a recorded speech, saying a surrender would not be in the spirit of Iran. "Know that America’s intervention in this matter is 100 percent to their detriment," Khamenei said. "What they (US) will suffer in this regard is much greater than what Iran may suffer." The Wall Street Journal is reporting President Trump has approved an attack of Iran, but has withheld from making the final order.

New York City Mayoral candidate Brad Landers was sensationally arrested and detained by ICE agents while guiding a defendant out of immigration court. Lander, who is the NYC Comptroller, was arrested for allegedly assaulting law enforcement and impeding a federal officer. Lander later refuted the claims, after his release, before telling the stories of other detainees who weren't as lucky. "I know I will have due process, and I will have a good lawyer and my rights will be protected. But Edgardo has no due process rights and no lawyer and is going to sleep tonight and God knows where in an ICE Detention Facility." Lander said referring to the man he was escorting out of immigration court.

UK Parliament Votes To Decriminalise Abortion After Prosecutions For Women | 10 News First

British MPs have voted to decriminalise abortion in England and Wales after concerns sparked by the prosecution of women for ending their pregnancy. The amendment passed 379-137 in parliament, meaning women who terminate their pregnancy after 24 weeks, will no longer be at risk of being investigated by police. The House of Commons will now need to pass the crime bill, which is expected, before it goes to the House of Lords, where it can be delayed but not blocked. The landslide vote is the biggest change to abortion laws in England and Wales for almost 60 years.
