In 2018, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! saw iconic comedian Fiona O’Loughlin work through very personal battles, challenges and breakthroughs to be crowned Australia’s second Queen of the Jungle.

Viewers laughed, cried and cringed as a collection of celebrities were stripped of their 1000 thread count sheets, half-strength soy frapuccinos and agent photo approvals and unceremoniously dropped into the depths of the South African jungle. Surrounded by creepy crawlies, baboons and snakes, they faced their deepest fears, taking on challenges they never thought possible and eating the unthinkable.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns to 10 on Sunday, 13 January, 2019 for its fifth season. Our producers were instructed to spare no expense when it came to securing only the very best celebrities who are crazy enough to leave their comfortable lives behind and brave the jungle for a no-frills experience. With only each other to turn to, they will endure meagre food rations, basic accommodation and the harsh conditions of the South African jungle, all to raise $100,000 for their chosen charity.

Broadcasting live, five nights a week from South Africa, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia season five promises fun, family entertainment, the most hilarious trials in history, heart-stopping adventure and endless surprises. Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown are set to deliver a season of fresh twists, more turns and even bigger surprises than ever before.

Last year, viewers watched as pampered celebrities left their Instagram’s behind and were slowly transformed by the challenges put before them in the jungle. With no filter to hide behind, we saw these famous faces like we have never seen them. Raw, emotional, scared out of their wits and, at times, vomiting into a bucket.

Boxing legends Danny Green and Anthony Mundine were forced to face their legendary, long-standing rivalry head-on when they were thrown into camp life together. While no referees were called, the experience proved too much for Anthony and world-famous tennis player Bernard Tomic who, in an Australian series first, both walked out of the competition.

Before Harry and Meghan, there was Ron and Brenda, Fiona O’Loughlin and Peter Rowsthorn’s alter egos who we joyously joined in holy matrimony for the first ever jungle wedding.

The celebrities welcomed the arrival of camp crashers and British I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! alumni Vicky Pattison and Paul Burrell, but controversial couple David and Lisa Oldfield divided the camp with their outspoken views and opinions.

After famously losing the title of Australian Idol back in 2003, eternal runner-up Shannon Noll took another blow by losing out to comedian Fiona O’Loughlin.

Fiona O’Loughlin impressed Australia the most by throwing herself into all elements of jungle life, forming strong friendships with her peers and opening up about her past battles.

She not only became Queen of the Jungle, but won $100,000 for her chosen charity, Angel Flight.
