Relive Season 5's Tucker Trials
Episode 1
In a school yard pick, team leaders Jacqui (red team) and Richard (blue team) hand selected their team members and were thrown straight into the first Tucker Trial of the series. With a slightly more luxurious camp on offer (we're talking a few pillows, a seat, no chores and food that tastes moderately okay), the celebs worked their way through some gruesome puzzles to unleash Justin and Justine from a snake-filled cesspit. The red team came out on top, meaning the blue team had to become their camp caretakers!
For the last Tucker Trial of the season, our final three came together for Friendly Fire where the loved ones had the job of passing a buzz wire course without touching the wire. If they failed to successfully navigate the rod, whether by accident or on purpose, the celebrity in the chair got a zap! The campmates finally got their revenge on host Dr. Chris Brown, who was strapped up to some electrodes as Julia had the easier job of easing her way through the course.
Episode 23
Our fabulous jungle five consisting of Angie, Luke, Richard, Shane and Yvie, came together for a hilarious trial, Help From Our Friends. Sitting above a tank filled with jungle nasties, the celebrities had to match a departed celebrity with a category in which they believed they would have got a question right upon exit. Get it right and they stay dry, but get it wrong and they will take a stinky swim. Luckily, Justine Schofield was well versed in all things relating to the FIFA World Cup, but unfortunately Ajay Rochester failed to pick which Kardashian sister was the oldest. With a small earning of two stars, the five campmates would walk away with two meals to share for dinner.
Episode 22
In a classic Houdini-style escape trial, Deep Trouble, Richard and Luke were shackled in a remarkable tank of terror filled with water and various jungle critters. In a race against the clock, the lovable duo had to frantically find and collect keys in their respective tanks and pass them through a hole in a wall divide to their fellow camp mate to unlock their deadbolts before their tanks overflowed.
Episode 21
In the biggest Sunday Slam I’m A Celebrity has ever seen, all of the remaining celebrities will team up and work together to get through the gauntlet and scale the slammer – with a blindfolded Justin. The gauntlet has never been tougher, with every single obstacle ‘of doom’ back and cranked to the max. But this time: it’s personal. In this run the celebs will be collecting miniature Justin action figures, with Justin forced to find and carry the game pieces as his teammates run each course element first and then guide him through.
Episode 20
Richard, Justin and Natasha Exelby had some fun in the dung. Completing in tonight’s hilarious trial, Spewtube, the trio had to run their own tutorial whilst being showered on by blood and offal, pig fat, elephant poo and rotten eggs. Delish. Despite struggling to read from an autocue with goggles splashed in slime, and a mouth covered in gunk, the terrific threesome seized the day to acquire an impressive eight stars.Shane took part in the most confronting and terrifying Trial seen in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! history, Last Gasp. Situated at the top of a pump house, Shane was lowered into a pitch black cage filled with water. Once inside whilst holding his breath, Shane had to collect stars situated in four hell holes filled with critters. With nine stars up for grabs, the frightened footballer struggled to hold his breath and only managed to grab six stars in a restrictive nine minutes.
Episode 18
Angie, Yvie and Luke arrived at jungle kindergarten to take part in the ghastly eating trial, Kindy Surprise. Based around classic nursery rhymes and not the delicious chocolate egg, the trio had to endure various cuisines such as python eggs, rats legs, roasted tarantula, lamb heart and goats brain, all of which complemented a specific childhood jingle. While Angie and Yvie were able to convince themselves that what they were eating was delish, poor spluttering Luke failed to keep it all down. Luke Jacobz? More like Puke Jacobz.
Episode 17
Richard was shocked to find that recent evictee Jacqui Lambie nominated him to compete in the terrifying Tucker Trial, Bogged Down. With an extreme phobia of snakes and confined spaces, Richard was terrified as he crawled through a sewer filled with scorpions, spiders, crocodiles and to his distress, snakes. Racing against the clock (and up against a way too cheeky croc), Richard smashed through all fears to secure an impressive eleven stars for his team mates.
Episode 16
Campmates Katherine and Justin took part in the third installment of Sunday Slam, a crazy obstacle course where they had to haul themselves past slips, slides, pits and gigantic boulders to collect twelve stars for camp. Luckily, there were no injuries this week, just a few pre-trial tears from our Hollywood starlet, Katherine Kelly Lang. The very bold and very beautiful pair showed the jungle who's boss, as they smashed the Tucker Trial and earn't themselves the full twelve stars for camp! Go team!
Episode 15
Katherine Kelly Lang and Tahir Bilgic braved tonight’s grotesque trial, Scrotal Recall. We replaced the Terminator with testicles…big bull ones. Sitting on two separate dunk tanks, the duo were given 60 seconds to memorise 16 different numbered images. If they answered a question correctly, they earned one star for camp but if they were incorrect, their jungle friend would get a dunk in gunk. Despite their efforts, the duo brought back only three stars.
Episode 14
It was a tough Tuesday for campmates Justin and Shane, as they not only had to suffer a revolting Tucker Trial, but they had to relive the torturous experience three times over! Groundhog Day saw our celebrities feast at the Stuffed Pig Diner, where they ate some puke-worthy pig dishes, over and over again. Whilst poor Shane struggled, Justin’s food deprivation surpassed any form of gag reflex, with the model smashing through each dish of hog and pig without a retch. Hello 12 stars!
Check out the behind the scenes of this yucky trial!
Episode 13
The Viper Room made a comeback to the jungle with a sneaky twist that left our claustrophobic campmates, Yvie and Luke, terrified. Escape From The Viper Room saw Yvie trapped underground in a snake-filled pit, while Luke navigated his way through a dark tunnel to find stars that were hidden amongst some spine-tingling, creepy crawlies. Time was of the essence for this dynamic duo, as the amount of time Luke spent finding his stars, was added to the amount of time Yvie had to remain in the snake pit. With all of their efforts combined, Luke and Yvie not only won all the stars for camp, but they spent a total of 16 minutes and 30 seconds completing the trial, which sets the record for the longest time spent in the Viper Room ever! Go team!
Episode 12
It was a spectacular Tucker Trial for campmates Richard, Justine, Natasha and Shane, as they participated in the most extreme form of trivia ever seen; Trubble Bath. High above the misty mountains, one-by-one the celebrities had to sit in a bathtub and answer a simple question. The awesome foursome had approximately seven seconds to answer the question before the tub would tip them off the side of the mountain...or so our merciless trials team led them on to believe. All fears aside, it was eight stars won for camp.
Episode 11
Justin and Jacqui took part in The Sunday Slam, a crazy obstacle course where they had to haul themselves past slips, slides, pits and gigantic boulders to collect 12 stars for camp. Last week we saw Justin’s modelling career at risk over a scratched up nose, and this week, it was Jacqui who took a heavy hit to the head. With a significant bump that even caught the attention of Dr. Chris Brown (even though he is a vet!), it was decided Jacqui needed urgent medical attention and she was whisked away in an ambulance. Bruised up but never one to back down, tough-as-nails Jacqui was given the all clear and returned to camp with shared respect from her jungle family. Phew!
Episode 10
The celebs were in for the shock of their lives, as Justin, Natasha, Richard and Luke had to navigate their way through a supermarket whilst being hooked up to electrodes. As the celebs were zapped for our viewing pleasure, they had to carry some very odd ingredients such as fish heads, three-tiered cakes and rotten tomatoes. Their faces may have been priceless, but their eight stars were worthless, as the campmates were punished for all their hidden contraband. It was a waste of Shocking Shopping, as the camp were in for another meal of rice and beans!
Episode 9
Comedic queens Angie and Yvie competed in the ultimate Tucker Trial, Drop N Pop. With Yvie perched safely on a cliff and Angie suspended high above an African canyon, the pair had to work together to pierce a spear through a balloon. A vomit in the sky and four missed attempts didn't discourage the pair, who successfully pierced the final balloon and won powered appliances for the camp. Girl power, literally.
Episode 8
It was a vom-umental trial for Justin, Shane, Dermott and Sam, as they played a nervous game of Russian Roulette with a round table full of revolting dishes. Some of the ingredients featured in the Meal of Fortune menu included lamb kidney, bull's testicles, sheep's eyes and intestines - eww! Dry heaving aside, the awesome foursome walked away with the full 13 stars for camp!
Episode 7
It was time for the new Camp Leader to enter the jungle, but not without competing in a gruesome Tucker Trial first. New celebrity Shane joined campmate Justin for a critter-filled game of Tunnel Vision. The celebs had to crawl their way through two tunnels and solve the puzzles to earn stars. The catch? Justin’s tunnel was lit (and not in the good way), whilst Shane was crawling in the dark. There was slime, mousetraps, Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches and a whole lot of yelling, but it didn’t stop the two from earning 13 stars for 13 celebs in camp!
Episode 6
The Sunday Slam saw Tucker Trial expert Justin and first-timer Tahir, go head-to-head in an outrageously large obstacle course. The celebrities had to rough it through the Slider Of Insanity, the Turntable Tornado, The Twin Roll, the Mole Hole Of Death and finally, the infamously savage Boulder Dash. Although this was Justin's fourth Tucker Trial in a row, Tahir beat the battered and bruised model by just 18 seconds! It was an exhausting trial for both celebs, but it was the Caretakers that got to eat a tasty meal that night.
NOTE: Justin's nose is in fine condition and he will indeed model again.
Episode 5
Basket Fall sent two good-looking roosters to the sky for an epic battle of shooting hoops, 60 metres above sea level. Camper Justin and Caretaker Luke are both incredibly afraid of heights, but this didn’t stop them from giving it their best shot. Justin rocked the high wire as if it were a runway show, however it was no match for Luke who swooped in and beat his opponent 3-2.

Episode 4
It was an eggs-hausting Tucker Trial for Camper bed buddies Justin and Jacqui, and Caretakers Justine and Natasha. Breakfast In Bed saw our celebrities eating their way through snoek eggs, blended rat, lamb brains, cockroaches, impala spleen and goat intestines. Justine and Natasha put in a solid effort but were no match for team Campers Jacqui and Justin who proved just how ravenous they were. Yuck!
See what happened behind the scenes in this icky Tucker Trial.
Episode 3
Camper Justin and Caretaker Angie took a dip in the unbelievably cold Frost Fight tanks to win themselves a tasty meal for their campmates. Each celeb had to stand in the freezing cold tank and unlock each valve with a different set of keys. Every time they opened a valve, a rush of iced water would fill up their opponents tank. With Angie struggling to keep on her toes, she almost called out the infamous words "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here", but Justin stayed ahead of the game, winning the Tucker Trial and earning himself and the Campers a tasty dinner.
Episode 2
Before giving it their best shot at a scenic game of putt-putt, Richard (Caretaker) and Ajay (Camper) had to strap themselves in for a helicopter joyride with Hawkeye Harry. Let's just say that this pilot wasn't exactly qualified, but his flying skills sure did increase the heartrates of the campmates! Because Ajay regulated her heartrate the most, she earned herself a 30 second head start. However, this didn't stop Richard from hitting the perfect shot, earning him and the Caretakers a better meal for camp!
