A prankster with boundless energy, Beau Ryan is the lovable larrikin, winning audiences and contestants over as the host of The Amazing Race Australia.

The former professional NRL player made 127 appearances for the Wests Tigers and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, until an injury cut his career short.

Beau’s cheeky sense of humour and bloke-next-door demeanour saw him make a seamless transition into the shiny world of television, including regular appearances on The Footy Show NRL and as a roving reporter for Chris And Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway. 

In 2020, Beau swapped the footy field for the dancefloor, joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars on 10.

A man of many talents, Beau is a regular contributor on Studio 10 and KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, and has even released his own cookbook, Beau's Kitchen.
